Mole Combo

The next place that we went to was called Rosa's. It was located on Fort Lowell Rd. Alvaro was actually the one who wanted to try this one out because his mother used to make it for him when he was younger, but she doesn't anymore for some odd reason that he will not say. I was impressed at how quickly they prepared the food for us. It probably took about ten minutes or so.
David was the first one to actually taste it he said that the taste wasn't authentic so he rated it a three out of ten. Alvaro went next and he agreed with him, but he said that the sauce was on point, so he gave them a five out of ten. I was the last one to taste it. I have never tried this dish before so I didn't know what to expect from it, other than the taste of chicken. Unlike Alvaro I didn't enjoy the sauce I thought it was too salty. I enjoyed the meat though it was nice and juicy. I kind of expected it to be tough by the way it was looking. I ended up giving it a four out of ten. Our overall rating is a four out of ten.

Burrito Combo

The first place that we went to was called Jason's. I just ordered a regular plate it cost only about $10 for the whole thing. At first I was afraid to try it because I didn't believe that it would be authentic. They usually have cheese included in it, but since I don't like cheese I asked them not to put any in mine. The restaurant is located near my school so it was easy to find it was down 22nd street.

When I first took a bite of the burrito I tasted fresh beef, like it came straight of the grill. It was nice and fresh so that's a start. As I kept eating though I noticed that the beef was kind of bland tasting. I like my food to be flavorful so maybe it's not the best choice of burrito for me. The beans and rice were a nice touch. If you eat them all together at the same time it kind of makes of for the bland tasting beef meat. Overall it was good. Not really worth the $10, but alright. I give it a 6 out of 10.
